The Meaning of Conversion in Buddhism Online Retreat - Available Spaces

Ordination into the Triratna Buddhist Order is the witnessing of the profound act of Going for Refuge. Going for Refuge involves a total transformation of our being and our relationship with others.

In order to gain a deeper understanding of what that entails we will be studying an early lecture series of Bhante Sangharakshita - The Meaning of Conversion in Buddhism - which explores four important turning points in this process of total transformation as described in the Buddhist tradition: Going for Refuge, Stream Entry, the Arising of the Bodhicitta, and the Paravrtti or 'turning about in the deepest seat of consciousness'.

This retreat is open for men who’ve asked for ordination. It takes place from 12th to 17th of February.
