The Lotus Sutra is not just a profound Buddhist text, it is a vast universe of wonder and mystery that communicates its spiritual abundance through image, symbol, myth and parable. This universe spans unimaginable vistas of time and space, populated by vast assemblies, surrounded by breathtaking beauty, and perfumed by the miraculous.
On this retreat, Ratnaghosa will give a series of far-reaching talks exploring and unfolding numerous images, parables and themes from the sutra, weaving them together so that we can see the deep significance of our quest for growth and meaning, a significance that reaches far beyond our personal concerns, a significance that connects us with all life and enables us to see the part we play within what Sangharakshita describes as ‘The Drama of Cosmic Enlightenment’.
