What might it be like to live a life of total creativity? How can we emulate the Buddha’s unstoppable creativity? How can we create a radically better world?
Join us and explore these questions, opening up to the active forces of higher inspiration that can move through us and animate us. In the Buddhist tradition, these animating forces are embodied by the figure of the Dakini, whose dance is the ecstasy of continuous creativity and who is deep red – the colour of passion.
On this weekend retreat, we’ll enter a different realm through meditation, discussion, ritual and friendship, partaking in a rare opportunity to come together as young men, within a sacred place, to explore the essentials of life

Coming on a retreat at Padmaloka is a step into another way of being, where we temporarily take up a way of life that is more supportive of Buddhist Practice. We go forth from our ordinary circumstances, our comforts and distractions so that we can discern and move towards our ideals and help others to do so as well. When booking a retreat at Padmaloka it is important to get a sense of how you will be living here - what our customs, etiquettes and requirements for being on retreat are.
